None of the new green jobs that Van Jones, President Barack Hussein Obama's new
Green Jobs Czar
envisions are in the nuclear energy sector. So what sort of new green jobs does he have in mind for America? I'm not really sure. Van Jones' world view was molded (by his own admission) by Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. He considers himself, "not only a communist but a rowdy black nationalist".
Even in this era of liberal supremacy in the legislature, Van Jones, who said, "I was radicallized in jail", was unlikely to be appointed to anything with Congressional oversight. The solution, of course, was for the president of the US to make him a Czar.
In fairness to Jones, he did have an environmental blog before being appointed to be Czar over Green Jobs. That, and being an ardent communist qualified him for the position. (CLICK HERE FOR MORE) He was also a Black Panther and helped organize STANDING TOGETHER TO ORGANIZE a REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT (STORM). (CLICK HERE FOR MORE)
No I'm not making this stuff up. As one of President Barack Hussein Obama's close friends and advisors, he's now one of the most powerful men in America, a czar, if you will. He has access to YOUR TAX MONEY and will spend it to promote "Green Jobs". Green must be the new red.
The goal of the Green Jobs Czar, it would seem, is to bring about social justice. (huh?) Does this mean he's helping General Motors C.E.O. Barack Hussein Obama to make GM a greener company?
Popular blogger, Nickie Goomba would say, "it don't make sense."

Times are hard and nobody has suffered more than the executives at AIG, General Motors and Citicorp. It's time to dig deep, reach out and find it in your heart to buoy up those who have been hurt worst by the financial recession.
Please consider sponsoring one of these unfortunates. Reach out now and understand that they don't really want a hand-up, they want a hand-out. Please support President Obama in his upcoming:
HR 4100 FUNDAMENTAL UNIVERSAL CURRENCY KINDNESS Act of 2009, designed to bail out executives who have fallen on hard times. A Change you can believe in...

I don't know how many of you feel that speed laws are foolish? Admit it, you're tempted to push the limit whenever you can. You might not even pay much attention to traffic signs cautioning you to slow down or that a decreased speed zone is ahead. Sometimes traffic citations are the way to solve the problem, but the Danish people didn't respond well to that answer (typical Vikings).
The Danes tackled this problem (seriously - no hoax) showing us the way forward. (Adult Theme on a legitimate news program)

I've heard it's a hoax.
I've heard that the oil companies bought up the rights.
If you look at the August issue of POPULAR MECHANICS, you'll see that Estes Model Rocket Company has developed a hydrogen fuel rocket. The toy uses electrolysis to separate hydrogen from H2O and then ignites it. It's something that people have been saying is too expensive and it's sold as a $50.00 toy.
However the news media ran this piece and the reporters didn't think it was a scam:
Food for thought ONLY.

Ayn came to the United States from Soviet Russia. She brought with her insight based on experience into the destructive nature of socialism. In her seminal work, ATLAS SHRUGGED, she outlined how politicians invariably respond to crises that for the most part they, themselves create, by spawning new government programs and laws to regulate the carnage they wrought. These programs, in turn create more havoc and poverty which causes politicians to create more programs. It's a death spiral where productive sectors of society are sacrificed under the collective weight of taxes and regulatory burdens imposed under the rubric of diversity, equality and fairness.
In her book the relentless redistributionists are continually creating new and more futile programs which carry with them benevolent-sounding titles such as the "Anti Greed Act" (reminds me of the GIVE Act President Obama signed into law in April 09) which promises to shear the rich of their money, and the "Equalization of Opportunity Act" which prohibits people from starting more than one business. Keep in mind that Rand wrote in the 50's. She never heard about the "AUTO FINANCING AND RESTRUCTURING ACT", the "EMERGENCY ECONOMIC STABILIZATION ACT", or the "AMERICA'S AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE CHOICES ACT". Yes, as I've written before, it seems that the Obama team is using Atlas Shrugged as their play book.
When profits, creativity and wealth are denigrated in society, they start to disappear and everyone is reduced financially and intellectually.
Some want to make Atlas Shrugged into a movie. I think it's unnecessary, we're all living the movie in the new ObamaNation - "all the world is a stage and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.." (Wm Shakespeare, As you Like It - Act 2 Scene 7) Maybe it would be a good movie if we could have Barack Hussein Obama play himself. But then again, we could just as easily piece it together from press conference footage and sound bites.
I recommend the book. BUY IT USED FOR ABOUT $8.50 on Amazon.com
Or you can watch it live on FOX.
(MSNBC, ABC and CBS don't cover it)

Television personality Bill Maher enjoys making fun of conservative bloggers. He feels that those of us who attend town hall meetings in opposition to the socialist agenda of the present congressional majority and executive administration.
Bill has been a strident fan of every fringe movement in America and was openly -- proud -- if you can call it that, of the way the terrorists rode the aircraft into the World Trade Center.
He did apologize a week later with the threat of being fired hanging like the sword of Damacles over his head. He was fired and his show was canceled. But he came back.
If Bill can't tell SINCERE Americans from ACORN hirelings, he's an intellectual lightweight and needs to consider his position and the fact that many Americans do not trust the government. We have good reason to view the US Government (which Bill criticizes when it's a Republican in office) with a great deal of skepticism. We have good reason to suspect the motives of Barack Hussein Obama, who has consistently told two very different stories to the American people.
To that sincere response, Bill explains to his television audience that those who are opposed to a single payer health care system are racists, old and senile and not nearly as enlightened as he is.

H/T to COFFEEPOT
BECAUSE I AM A MAN - When I catch a cold, I need somebody to bring me soup and take care of me while I moan and whine. You are a woman. You never get as sick as I do.
BECAUSE I AM A MAN - I can be relied upon to purchase basic groceries at the store like beer, bread or milk. I can not be expected to find exotic items like thyme or tofu. For all I know, they're the same thing.
BECAUSE I AM A MAN - There is no need to ask me what I'm thinking about. The true answer is always either sex, motorcycles, kinky sex, cars, guns, rough sex, boats, SCUBA or sex. I have to make something up when you ask, so don't bother asking.
BECAUSE I AM A MAN - You don't need to ask me if I liked the movie. Chances are, if you cried at the end of it, I didn't; and if you're feeling amorous afterwards...then I'll remember the name so I can recommend it to other guys.
BECAUSE I AM A MAN - I think what you're wearing is fine. I thought what you were wearing five minutes ago was fine, too. Either pair of shoes is fine. With the belt or without it, it's all fine. Your hair is fine. You look fine. Can we just go now?

Government efforts to control the cost of healthcare have all failed. Cost control is a feature of decentralized, competitive markets, not of centralized bureaucracy. Incentives, not mandates, reduce costs. Anyone who has ever run a business understands that there are constant variations in costs for labor, facilities, raw materials, etc. In order for any business to prosper, it must respond quickly to market forces. Government bureaucracies carefully set regulations and reimbursement rates through broadly applied rules that are bent based on political considerations. They move slowly. They NEVER respond to market forces.
Medicare costs (overseen by the same government that would manage the entire national healthcare system) enjoy huge market power in purchasing and it should be the easiest to control in terms of managing costs. The truth? Between 2000 and 2007, Medicare's hospital and physician reimbursement rate soared annually by 5.4% and 8.5% respectively.
Medicare was structured as a ponzi scheme. Medicare tax contributions don't come close to fully funding the care it doles out. Today's workers subsidize today's recipients to the extent that it requires 3.7 workers to fund care for EACH Medicare recipient. So if you think that the money you're paying into Medicare today is high, it's about 25% of what it should cost to fully fund it. The Medicare system in America is broke and it will require a massive infusion of tax money to keep it rolling. As the nation ages, the numbers will become even more significant.
Expanding government's inability to come to grips with any major problem or to pay its bills without unrestrained borrowing against future generations should teach us that this is NOT the way to reform healthcare.

Does President Obama "pack the gear" to take on Iran? There are many in the Clinton State Department who wonder if that's the case. Since SecState Clinton isn't a Czar, is she out of the loop?
Referring to the video below, the publication date is a month old, however the facts are interesting and the assertions of the analysis from stratfor.com are still valid.
The situation is developing slowly, like two chameleons making love, and nobody but the insiders really understand what's going on. I'm not sure that even they have a handle on all of the political dynamics churning under the surface.
It's a place on the planet we need to keep a close eye on because of the implications of rapid political shifts, such as one where Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani comes to an agreement with the Supreme Leader and they oust the current president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad through the use of the Islamic Republican Guard (said to be generally loyal to Ahmadinejad).
Al Jazzeera (English Broadcast) comments on the political power struggle in Iran. (same time frame as the stratfor production.)
You'll note that yesterday, I posted that there is a way to turn your life around ... with tequila ... (captioned below). While there are a few cautionary warnings, you also need to consider the implications of karma that come with drinking tequila.
This video explores Karma, the law of cause and effect, in this context:

The recent street protests in Iran has shaken Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to the extent that a new internal security force loyal only to him has been formed and fielded. The unit has been named Haydaryan (haydar=lion).
The Shiia believe that the Prophet Mohammed's son-in-law, Ali should have been the prophet's successor. His nickname was Haydar.
Best Guess: The Haydaryan will be fielded to apply force to maintain the Supreme Leader's position against rival clerics and to keep a close eye on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard.
I am personally surprised that the situation of the Supreme leader seems to be so vulnerable as to require the Haydaryan to be formed.
How do you think this will impact Iran's foreign policy decisions?

I've been published in both Indian and Pakistani defense journals over the years and have contributed as an author and provided advice. The West does not understand Pakistan or India well and it does little good trying to educate them. Both nations share proud warrior traditions. Both have strong national identities forged through and in spite of occupation by the British. At times in my life I was a close student of politics primarily in India.
At present, the Wagah - Attari Crossing Point is the only road linking the two countries. Every night, the border is closed with an official ceremony. In much the same way as the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace draws tourists, this ceremony brings interested people from both sides of the border and abroad.
The ceremony underscores the rivalry of both nations and at the same time, ends in a handshake. Of all the nuclear powers, those most likely to resort to the use of their nukes may be India and Pakistan. I'm sure there are people who read this blog who may disagree, and do so by all means if you have strong feelings on the matter.
It's important to be prepared.

When did the practice of widespread slavery end in the world?
I like to joke around on my blog from time to time but this is not one of those jokes.
The United Kingdom isn't a place you'd expect to see widespread human slavery is it? Until Chief Superintendent Nick Kinsella, who had been seconded to MI-5 and his team delved into it, I wouldn't have thought so either. They launched Operation Pentameter and because of it's success, Operation Pentameter II. Nick is a friend of mine and because of that friendship, I followed his work (click here).
How much do you think you'd have to pay for a slave/indentured servant in Tijuana, Mexico? The slave could be used for either male or female prostitution, as a domestic servant, factory worker, etc. We are talking one-time purchase cost.
About US$150.00. If it's a girl, she's a virgin and she's pretty, maybe $200.00. Dr. Sheldon Zhang, University of California at San Diego is conducting an academic study on this phenomenon and I put him in touch with people he uses for field research.
Most of the slaves, mostly women, are either kidnapped or purchased from their homes in the interior of Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America. Price at point of purchase: $50.00.
I was task force commander of the Los Angeles Regional Asian Organized Crime Enforcement Team (RGET) (a joint federal/state/local task force) and recall having a new Supervising Special Agent from the California Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement assigned to the unit. He happened to be a black man. I took him to lunch in a Chinese restaurant in Santa Ana, California and he was complaining (mildly) about the assignment. I said, "XXXXX, how do you feel about slavery?"
He replied, "What?"
"Slavery, human slavery right here. Real slaves. How do you feel about that?"
He thought I was joking and laughed, "Lincoln freed the slaves."
I said, "No, real slaves, indentured, can't leave, if they run away their family members back home will be murdered."
I had his attention. I told him to follow me and we walked back into the kitchen where a dozen Chinese men were cooking. The owner moved to intercept me, I showed my badge, he backed down. I told Supervisory Special Agent XXXXXX, these men are all from Fujin Province and they are slaves. There are over 2,000 Chinese restaurants in Orange County, California. Almost all of them use slave labor to prepare food. Multiply that by restaurants throughout the state and country and you get the picture.
The Chinese are smuggled by "snakeheads" who transport the people from China to locations worldwide. The US (called the Golden Mountain) is a favorite destination. The cost of smuggling the people from China to the US, for example, must be worked-off by the person smuggled. For most, it's a life sentence. And you Canadians who are are feeling smug should take a walk around Toronto or Vancouver...
Human slavery is alive and well in the world today and people, including PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, who is really big on the fact that black people were held as slaves in America 150 years ago could care less.

Under the best of circumstances, home remodeling can be challenging. Most experts agree that it's harder to remodel an old home than it is to build a new one from the ground up. In this video, experts approach remodeling a special purpose building, including an interview with the owner.
I'm not going to engage in political rants all the time - just some of the time. This is a practical departure from my standard blog post. Sort of a community service moment. Servicing the community is an important part of life itself, isn't it? I feel serviced every time Congress is in session.
Just one more thing to bring up at your Town Hall Meeting

I am not prone to exaggeration, but in this day and age of the ObamaNation, it certainly sounds like it.
This Bill, if passed as written will make the following, the LAW OF THE LAND. It was designed as a measure to prohibit irresponsible gun show sales of firearms but it goes much further than that.
It will be illegal to own any rifle with a detachable magazine or any pistol unless:
- It is registered.
- You are finger printed
- You supply a Driver's License
- You supply a Social Security Card
- You submit to a physical and mental evaluation at a time of THEIR choosing
- Each update or change of ownership through private or public sale must be reported with a cost of $25.00
- Failure to comply means you will be prohibited from ever owning a firearm and you would be subject to one year in jail.
There is a provision dealing with child-access:
- The government would have the RIGHT to enter your home without a warrant or notice, to inspect your home to insure you are storing your firearm correctly. Failure to comply is punishable by up to five years in federal prison.
Please don't forget to denounce your neighbors to the White House through the convenient e-mail address listed below (right)-

Synopsis: President Obama's Top Health Care Advisor suggests a system where Representative Nancy Pelosi's constituents would be denied medical care. No, I'm not being inflammatory - this blog is sourced.
Is this YOUR vision of quality health care? Please read the entire blog.
In this blog post I will be quoting the NEW YORK TIMES (click here to read the entire article)
and the NEW YORK POST (click here to read the entire article) I wouldn't want to take anything out of context out of fear of being reported to President Obama at firstname.lastname@example.org, the contemporary version of being "denounced" to the organs of the state in Soviet Russia.
But before I explain who Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is, I want you to read about Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and about her constituents who she wants to convert to ObamaCare. I went to the official source - http://www.house.gov/pelosi/ to get it from the horse's mouth (as it were).
Note that Representative Pelosi's constituents have chronic illness and she professes to care about it. How much does she really care? What does President Obama's Medical Care Advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel think about care for those with chronic illness?
We're back to the New York Times and New York Post articles cited above.
Who is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel and why should you care?
He is special advisor to the US Budget Director, Peter R. Orszag. He's also the older brother of Rahm Emanuel, the White House Chief of Staff. He's a key advisor to President Obama on healthcare reform. As such, he is influencing the DIRECTION in which the President is pushing healthcare reform. You have seen the video where President Obama stresses the single-payer system (only a government system of healthcare in America) is his goal.
He's the guy President Obama looks to for solutions to healthcare problems. President Obama values his opinions and pays for his advice.
This is what Dr. Emanuel believes (refer to the NY Times Article)
- "Gradually phase out Medicare and Medicaid and 'sever the link between employment and health insurance - Employers would no longer pay for health care. The whole scheme would be financed with a value-added tax, similar to a sales tax."
- The current healthcare plan (as proposed) "would do little or nothing to reduce health care costs," and the subsidies would be, "an administrative nightmare.
Now we're moving on to the New York Post (article cited above):
- Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).
- Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.
- Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).
- He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).
Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has a district with many disadvantaged elderly, many people who have been struck down by AIDS - and she firmly supports the program the President's top medical advisor suggests. Nancy, it looks like you'll need to find some new voters after the people you are "representing" are denied care and die.
I would like Rep. Pelosi or one of her people to respond to the blog (without calling me names). Please don't send the union thugs to my house to beat me or my kids up.
Who the heck to do you think you are, Nancy? The last time I looked, you took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Furthermore you are a REPRESENTATIVE (look at the name plate on your desk, perhaps it will refresh your recollection). Who do you think you represent? And since when is making one's voice heard "un-American"?
I'm one of those who make my voice heard. I am an American. I served my nation under arms during several small and large wars in COMBAT. I was decorated for heroism. I was commissioned an officer by Congress. I worked as a police officer. My ENTIRE LIFE has been devoted to government service, most of it IN HARM'S WAY. I take offense at your characterization of me and people like me who exercise their First Amendment Rights as "un-American".
The Public pays your salary. They contribute to your retirement. They pay for your executive jet and for all your expenses. They do this so you will REPRESENT THEM and ME. Have you read your job description recently?
Maybe you've lived the life of a vainglorious politician long enough. Maybe we need to work to replace you with somebody who won't be afraid to listen to us. Don't worry. You'll still have a job as a talking head on MSNBC or one of the state-run media networks. And you'll have your Congressional pension to live on.
Representative Pelosi - I thank you for your service to this country and I think it's time you find another job.

A CLEAR VIEW of the new National Healthcare Plan - from Rep. Michelle Bachman
Please take the time to review her presentation to Congress.
No, you won't see anyone on MSNBC playing this speech to Congress or her plea to Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The reality of the new proposed healthcare legislation is chilling to say the least. The concept that "Communitariansim should direct medical diagnosis" sounds as if it should have come from the pages of the George Orwell classic, 1984.

One of the more stressful jobs and certainly one of the more unappreciated ones is that of police dispatcher.
They receive hysterical telephone calls from the public requiring translation of screams into facts so that officers responding to calls for service have some idea of what they're getting into.
Whether it's an early childbirth, an automobile accident, a robbery in progress or a domestic dispute, they hear what it is that we the public have to say and try to deal with it as best they can.
Sometimes it's a medical aid and they ask you, the citizen, to help diagnose the problem...

The Right to Free Speech ->
Before you watch the video, I want you to consider your rights to self expression in a free land. I want you to ponder what you always wanted to tell the police when they stopped you for a minor traffic violation.
Maybe one day the police will be warm and caring. Maybe one day they will give up eating red meat for tofu. Maybe one day they will take flower arranging classes instead of martial arts to get in touch with their inner child. Maybe one day they will turn in their semi-automatic handguns for less lethal feather-dusters. Maybe one day you will be able to get away with insulting them at will without ending up in the gray-bar hotel or looking up while laying flat on a gurney in the emergency room of a hospital.
But it's not one day. It's today.
And discretion is the better part of valor.
Sometimes "Sorry Officer" is not quite enough.
I'm one of those people who think you look silly with the little ear piece tucked into your ear while your Blue Tooth cell phone is in your pocket. I know you're carrying on an important conversation, gesturing, shouting, and so forth - seemingly to yourself. One day, maybe soon, the phone company will have an implant that can be tucked neatly under your skin so that you don't need any exterior device to be connected to the superhighway all the time.
UNTIL THEN, it's just as annoying when you're in a movie or a church and somebody needs to "take a call" immediately. You always wish for karma (the law of cause and effect) to engage on your behalf when this happens.
The video portrays just such a karmic event:

Are you inked up like a China Sailor or a Yakuza Gangster - or have you opted for a more discrete tattoo? Maybe just a tramp stamp? Perhaps you are ink-free.
Does the cool tattoo today remain just as interesting as the day you first got it? What does your tattoo say about YOU? Is it fair for us to judge you by the pigment pattern you have drilled into your skin for all time?
Take a look at the video if you're seeking guidance on removing the ink.

Are Blonde Women
There has been a lot of blog chatter about racial stereotypes, racial profiling, racial bias. What about blonde women? Do they receive fair treatment?
By the way, if you know any good blonde jokes, here and now is the time to share them...
Here in the blogosphere, we men read from time to time of how women would like us to get in touch with our feminine sides. The photo of the man crying (right) is indicative of what women seem to want in us.
Unfortunately I don't have a feminine side, so it's difficult for me to oblige. To me it sounds just a little bit like emasculation. However I am keeping an open mind on the subject so long as sharp objects aimed at my groin aren't involved.
What do YOU think?

Note Democratic voters (above) worshiping their Messiah. You all thought this was something new but when you watch the video below of typical voters learning the truth - fifty years ago, it will chill you to the bone.
THEY new it was coming.
They warned us.
