Drifting

It's not only about foolish national healthcare programs that will trash 20% of the economy, or government take over of AIG (Insurance), the banking industry, the auto industry and so forth. It's about the shifty way Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, their ACORN operatives and Barack Hussein Obama, their leader operates. Doesn't it appear that the moral relativism is off the scale?

It didn't happen overnight. It's a gradual thing. However over the last year or so it becomes exponentially more evident.  We as a nation are not simply financially bankrupt. We first bankrupted ourselves morally. And we are drifting with a foolish jester in the White House (I can hear the steam calliope playing in the background every time the president/ring master lifts a microphone and states into a teleprompter.

  1. Calliope - I like that. I've decided that what you have done here is define "progressive" (with potential apologies to a car insurance company with a bad advertising campaign).

  2. I agree, but I never imagined we would arrive at a time when that relativism would allow spokesholes from the White House to change stories hourly (with a straight face).

  3. Agreed, sir. I have put a label on the phenomenon. I call it liberal "incrementalism" Oh sure, it's not a real word, but it sums up the method they used to bankrupt us morally. The good news is that those "increments" have begun pushing buttons in the ranks of conservative patriots everywhere, almost overnight. Will either side back down or will there be a real confrontation?

  4. Still on vacation - I noticed that Speaker Pelosi is pushing a 1900 page healthcare bill that is revenue neutral. I asked myself how STUPID Speaker Pelosi thinks we are. Then again, voters kept returning this foolish lady to Congress. That wasn't the brightest move. Maybe she hopes the taxpayers won't care - but it seems to me that she's telling a fib.

Somebody needs to interview her plastic surgeon to confirm rumors that he needs to keep trimming her nose back on her wooden face...
