Who WE Are

It's very easy to loose hope when you see the present regime in power in Washington DC - their insatiable greed, their contempt for the American people in general, and their comments about the "people in fly-over country who cling to their outmoded concepts of God and guns".

However there is a another side to our country and a better example of who we are:

  1. That's very nice. I'm so proud of our boys, our fighting men.

  2. The United States was founded and has survived on core concepts that have made us great. Sadly, many of those we have sent to our nation's capitol to represent us only mouth the words-- and their actions don't match those ideals that have been handed down.

Hopefully in November the ratio of cynical self-serving would be tyrants and patriots will be reversed.

  3. LL: It would be great to hav a reversal in the ratio, and indedd it might happen. The open question of course would be how long it would last. I'm convinced it is in the nature of Washington itself to cloud the minds of men. There's a name for the afflication, Potomac Fever and, given long enough exposure, it appears to have a nearly 100% infection rate. The only vaccine for it is strict term limits.

  5. Thanks for a great blog and for your continued support to the cause.

I wonder what other lies will be exposed by the creeps like Blumenthal .And now the " Free Press" is doing his Lying for him.

  6. I disagree that our soldiers "will hike up the hills and walk back down again without complaining".

I thought that complaining was mandatory for being a soldier.

Complain about the food, complain about the heat or cold, complain about the insects, complain about the brass, complain about how heavy the gear is or how it isn't heavy duty enough. Then do the job and come back for more.
