Foreign Aid to Libya - and Border Security

Fox News reported (LINK HERE) that at roughly the same time President Obama called Qaddafi a threat to his own people, President Obama lobbied Congress to give the Libyans $1.7 million.

I need to repeat this:

According to Fox News, just one month before attacking Libya the president asked Congress to increase U.S. aid for Qaddafi's military to $1.7 million. According to State Department figures, the money was earmarked to train Libyan military officers, improve its air force, secure its borders and to counter terrorism.

Ok, maybe I'm slow (because I believe in God, guns and the Constitution). But, as I understand the POLICY of the Obama regime -->  While the US Border is porous and our ineffective border security plan allows Mexican cartel narcoterrorists to cross with tons of illegal narcotic products, and allows millions of illegal aliens to cross every month, we're giving money to LIBYA for border security. Is that what this regime proposed, a month before we attacked them?  In what universe does that make any sense to anyone?

Fox News (cited above): Libya isn't the only repressive Arab regime benefiting from U.S. military aid. Obama wants $120 million for Yemen next year, including $20 million for a military accused of brutally putting down a popular revolt, and $11 million to promote democracy and human rights, something critics say doesn't exist in Yemen. It almost smacks of treason.

  1. How can a Republican lose to this guy? Point for point he has done what he said he wouldn't do, he won't do what he said he would do - but just like he promised, he does it all 'in your face.'

  2. Race Bannon - I don't know, but the general apathetic voting public are a bunch of lemmings and they'll follow people like Obama right off the cliff and into the ocean. I'm becoming an even bigger cynic.

  8. LL, It does indeed smack of treason. but then again most treasonous actions are predicated upon the Big Lie!

One must realize once and for all, this administration cannot be defined by hypocrisy! I have used the following more than once and of course have been taken to task by the ignoramuses who have their heads so far up their you know what’s that they refuse to recognize exactly what is going on with the scum in D.C. and their open disdain as to the intelligence of the electorate, something I might add has been well earned by the voters when one sees the morons they continue to vote into office!! And as to the Hitler referral, I mean it exactly as I say it. I’m tired of people whining about how it’s so bad to liken this clown to Hitler, Lenin or any other tin horn moronic despot, but the fact are the facts and the shoe fits!
I have used the following more than once and of course have been taken to task by the willy nillys who have their heads so far up their you know what’s that they refuse to recognize exactly what is going on with the scum in D.C. and their open disdain as to the intelligence of the electorate, something I might add has been well earned by the voters when one sees the morons they continue to vote into office!!
Who made the following quotes? "How fortunate for governments that people they administer don't think. The broad masses of a population are more amendable to the appeal of Rhetoric than any other force. Make the lie Big. Make it Simple, and eventually they will believe it." The answer: ADOLF HITLER . " Lies, Lies and more Lies! That’s all the Left has as ammunition (I purposely used that term just to tick off you libbies out there).
I have also in the past mentioned the fact that this administration, in classic Marxist/Leninist/ Goebel’s propaganda style are trying their utmost best to implement Newspeak as practiced in the novel “1984” The excerpt below is a perfect representation of this President, his administration and the lying pack of jackals not only in the media but on both sides of the aisle.

"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which canceled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget, whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself -- that was the ultimate subtlety; consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink." - from George Orwell's 1984

One must hope that the electorate has come to their senses. If we are in fact dumbed down to the point that we will listen to and believe the ”Doublethink” and the “Newspeak” as practiced in the media and by politicians today, our country is already lost!

  9. Can you imagine the money we could save if we would stop foreign aid?
