An Offer You Can't Refuse

The day was ...interesting at the National Championship Air Races. The F-7F Tiger Cat flew at the end of the day and it's one elegant lady. There's an offer to buy my company and I have a conference call tomorrow. Once it begins, the lawyers and bean counters will have at it.  It's possible that it will end up in a joint venture.

If they offer me my own Tiger Cat (above)...it would be making an offer that I couldn't refuse.

    1. You sound like a Yank... Who knows on the corporate dance? They'd have to find a price or arrangement that we'd take. The Tigercat (or a WW2 vintage P-51 Mustang) would be a definite inducement for me, but they won't offer that - which means I have an easier choice.

  3. Well, all kinds of things going on your way. I really didn't think you were ready for this though.

Mrs. Woodsterman will be working the Air Races tomorrow.

  4. What would you do with a lot of money? Piss it away on food and clothing?

    1. I'd buy a modest place up in the mountains somewhere outside the People's Republic of Kalifornia where I could find some peace and quiet. And I wouldn't worry about money. However, I'm guessing that these discussions will lead to some sort of joint venture, which will mean more work for me. That's how it usually works.

    1. The people on the conference call were New York rude. I really don't care how much money that they have. There's not enough money on the planet. I asked why they were being rude, if I offended them. They said no, but continued to be rude. So much for that. I think that their default setting is NY in-your-face rude. I can't tolerate it.

On with the show. The show must go on.

  7. You don't want to stay in the PRK !?! Maybe things will look better from the cockpit of your new Tiger Cat, or P 51.

    Kick out the Jams.
