Obscure News

Thought for the week: STOP MAKING STUPID PEOPLE FAMOUS.

News you may have missed this week:

RUSSIA

Russian T-14 Armata tank
I have long thought that many heavy use armored vehicles (tanks, self propelled guns, missile launchers, etc.) should use the same basic chassis. The US does that with the Stryker wheeled vehicle, but it doesn't extend as far as it does to other systems in my opinion. The Russians "stole" my idea...but it didn't work out all that well for them when the new tank went on display during their Victory Day Parade (was May Day Parade in the USSR).
The first major tank to be developed in Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union abruptly grounded to a halt during a rehearsal for Moscow’s big May 9 Victory Day parade, Reuters reports.
Texas 2 -- Muslims 0

I'm sure you heard about the "draw Mohammed" contest in Garland, TX and the two jihadis who showed up to the party. So it's not news that you haven't heard of. Some people such as Donald Trump, the comb-over king of New York thought that it was a bad idea. I think that Pamela Geller needs to have streets named after her. What a great idea. It wouldn't fly in the blue urban hells, but in Free America (and there are still significant portions of the country that are), it plays well.

Jihadis are neither loved nor respected in Free America (the area that shows up red on the electoral map). Muslims are usually tolerated to the extent that they hold themselves accountable to the same laws as the rest of the nation upholds...you can't honor-kill people who you don't like and bury them in the back yard, men can't beat their wives (avoiding their faces as proscribed by the Quran), and if somebody draws a cartoon of the long dead prophet of Islam, you can't kill them either.

The map showing areas where jihadis are not loved is provided for reference (above-right). I realize that it's coincidental, but Hillary is not loved in any of those areas either. Make of that what you will because at this point, what difference does it make?

FBI

Americans are wondering whether or not the Federal Bureau of Investigation is a wholly owned asset of the Democratic Party. Since the FBI answers to Barack Obama, one can answer that it naturally is...just the same as the Internal Revenue Service (paragon of political virtue) is. The FBI did take all references to Islamic Terrorists out of their OPFOR exercises - which makes absolutely no sense.
A Kazakh official involved in brokering a controversial mining deal for a major Clinton Foundation donor is behind bars for his role in the transaction, undercutting a Clinton campaign "fact-check" that attempted to dismiss ethical questions about the former president's ties to the lucrative contract.
Former President Bill Clinton RESPONDS
Hillary for America and the Clinton-aligned group Media Matters pushed back on allegations that the Clintons had used their political clout to drum up millions in foundation donations and speaking fees by furthering the financial interests of friends in the wake of Tuesday's publication of Peter Schweizer's Clinton Cash.
If the FBI investigates the shady Clinton Foundation deals, will it conclude its investigation before the 2016 presidential elections?  Is the FBI ready for Hillary? Will the FBI be trans-gender compliant by the end of Hillary's first term? (transgender compliance would require FBI males to become female and females to become male -- but the previously gender identified males can be lesbians) There are just too many questions...

BALTIMORE

Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Friday the Department of Justice will launch a federal civil rights investigation into the practices of the Baltimore Police Department.

I find it interesting that of the people involved in the death of the criminal, the principal suspects and the sergeant (supervisor) are black (African-American/American-African or whatever). Moreover all senior officials at the City of Baltimore are black (same caveat disclaimer). AG Lynch is also black. So is the President of the United States (only half-black but he repudiates his white half) and his fact-finder, the tax cheater, and holy man, Reverend Al Sharpton. So why do I have a nagging suspicion that this will end up being a "white problem"?

  1. Gotta love that map.

And so do all the urban mobs (takers) once TSHTF who view all of that red as, in your analogy, Costco. We all love to speculate as to how many takers we can mow down without the barrel of our Glock's melting as they form human wave attacks against our prepper defenses.

Yes, the map explains much. Everyone who lives in the red areas hate jihadis, Hillary and takers. Sounds like God's country to me.

    2. Electorally, my state and your state are solidly in the Democrat column, no need for a republican candidate to even set foot in either state.

But both California and Illinois are perhaps 90% red by square footage. It's those dang tiny little blue spots that pack in the liberals, commies, socialists, pinkos and losers in general like sardines that skew the vote.

    3. I know, it's embarrassing and a little insulting to have the inner city slums and liberal enclaves damaging the whole.

  2. Bureau run by Dems? Well, yeah.

  3. As to Pam Geller. I heard a great comment on the radio this morning. The commentator mentioned her and stated that hell yes, she did exactly what she wanted and that was to lure out and expose Radical Islamist here in the states. But he went on to say that this is in fact a great idea! Run an event as she did, dangle the bait, let them start sniffing and nibbling and blow their sorry asses away.

    1. That commentator is obviously an islamophobe -- and possibly also a racist and part of the "vast right wing conspiracy" that is turning blue states red.

    2. Just a note on that. The commentator was in fact referring to the issue that amongst other things, the Government does not seem willing to take action against what they themselves admit is a problem as to "known" possible terrorists here in this country as noted by the fact the FBI notified Texas authorities of the guys who were in fact shot.

I really don't think he was being Islamaphobic as much as pointing out a way to ferret soem bad apples out.

    3. You misunderstand me. I was speaking with extreme cynicism. The commentator was correct. It is the government who would paint him as an islamophobe....certainly not me.

  4. It's all Pamela's fault. And think what a utopia we'll live in when the FBI, at last, becomes trans compliant.

Rumors that Joe Biden is "transitioning" may or may not be true.

    1. It's good of you to caveat the rumor that Biden will become a woman to be better able to compete with Hillary in the 2016 election - for commander in chief and leader of the free world.

  8. With all the anti-tank munitions available, I wonder if this latest exercise in Russian military acumen is just as vulnerable as the Sherman tank (AKA the Zippo) during WWII. My FIL was assigned to an armored unit and he didn't want to be anywhere near a Sherman.

  9. Someone far smarter than I already posited the idea that these contests should be held nation wide as jihadi bait. Plaster lots of posters mocking Mohammed in public places, then put up Muslim blinds (like duck blinds but instead use bacon wagons or some such) and then wait for your prey. Use Islamic lures and decoys like "Allahu Akbar" calls or line the street with vinyl kneeling figures to draw them near, then blast away.

The states could make some bucks by selling permits. For the faint-hearted, they'd be out of season during Ramadan.

    2. Me and my grand kids (ages 5 to 17) always pull a good one when we go out to eat in the buffets here in Vegas. Of course we all love bacon so if by chance there are any "muslims" sitting near us, I'll always ask them "What's better than bacon guys?" In unison they yell out "More Bacon!" Of course the looks on the faces of some of the folks around us if of the "Muslim" persuasion is priceless and yes I do it on purpose.

For what its worth, I also used to pull this on my grandmother, rst her soul. A devout close to orthodox Jew who always jumped on me about the no pork thing.
