Business Opportunity?

camel urineI never knew that there was such a demand for camel urine in the Muslim community. I'm looking into becoming a camel urine importer/distributor to service the needs of the people who attend the mosque-down-the-street from my home.

Saudis shut down camel urine shop (Daily Mail).

In Saudi Arabia, drinking camel urine is considered to be medicinal. Some hadiths depict Muhammad touting the medicinal benefits of drinking camel urine. This one also shows him in his full compassionate, merciful glory:
“The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so the Prophet ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they followed the shepherd that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When the news reached the Prophet he sent some people in their pursuit. When they were brought, he cut their hands and feet and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron.” (Bukhari 9.76.5686)
Drinking camel urine is just as much a matter of obeying Muhammad (as the Qur’an repeatedly exhorts Muslims to do; see 3:32; 3:132; 4:13; 4:59; 4:69; 4:80; 5:92; 8:1; 8:20; 8:46; 9:71; 24:47; 24:51; 24:52; 24:54; 24:56; 33:33; 47:33; 49:14; 58:13; 64:12) as is waging jihad and subjugating Infidels (see Qur’an 9:29).

More from the Daily Mail
Saudi authorities have closed down a shop selling traditional camel urine drinks after discovering the owner had been filling the bottles with his own bodily waste.
Health inspectors swooped on a vendor in the port city of Al Qunfudhah, in south-western Saudi Arabia, and confiscated more than 70 full bottles.
The practice of drinking camel’s urine mixed with milk is believed to date back centuries while some insist it has health benefits.
But the shopkeeper’s business was closed down indefinitely amid claims he had been selling his own urine to unsuspecting customers.
The traditional camel urine drink is believed to have originated from a passage in the Hadith.

    1. I'm going to need to reverse engineer your Camel Urine Detector if my business is to succeed. In that way, I can double down and sell "my" detectors along with camel urine. I can foresee a catastrophic accident happening to that plant in China that makes them.

  4. I've asked Blue Hadith about this and he's keen to open a franchise in DFW/Hill County.

    Thanks for the tip.

    1. If you become known as the principle camel urine provider in Central Texas, the jihadis might leave you and Blue Scimitar -- for last.

When you open your franchise, I'll sell you "my" patented fake camel urine detectors at wholesale prices so that your customers will know that they are buying pure and unadulterated camel urine.

In fact, when I open my chain of Aloha Snackbars (For Muslims who like a bacon cheeseburger made with 'fake' bacon), I see no reason why I couldn't offer chilled camel urine as one of the go-to beverages.

Then there is the bottling franchise. Look what Coca-Cola did with that. Think of all of the Mooselim-owned convenience stores. I'm sure that they'd carry our Blue Scimitar Brand camel urine in the refrigerator section.

  5. Regardless of my health, or desire adventure, I could never drink piss from anyone or anything. If my Bible told me too, I would have to declare myself an atheist on the spot. Buy you can have all you want. I don't plan on kissing you or anything.

    1. I don't plan to drink it, just sell it in the Muslim Community where there is a high demand.

  6. "Stay thirsty, my friend." And I was just wondering if it is OK to drink your ice cold, frosty mug of camel urine with your left hand; you know, the one you wipe your ass with? Seems OK to me. Could you set me straight, LL?

    1. The whole left hand and 'failure to wash' syndrome for the CAIR people has always mystified me. However, I think that there would/should be a Qur'an-ic exception for that hot, steamy mug of fresh camel urine. Maybe Mohammed (may his name be praised forever and ever) simply thought that "Of course you can use your left hand" and left it out of the Satanic Verses because it's simply what was done. No matter what, the inspirational answer has been lost in the sands of time.

However if you and your Muslim friend are drinking the hot mug of camel urine early in the morning to get the motor running and he says, "here's mud in your eye"....check to make sure that it's actually "mud". That's some free advice from your friendly camel urine bottler and distributor.

  7. There seems to be growing enthusiasm for the bottled camel urine here if e-mail is any measure. I went on a run on the motorcycle this afternoon and stopped by the mosque-down-the-street. There weren't any clerics present so I stopped the bike and spoke to the security guard that is posted near the gate.

I posited my business plan to him to sell authentic imported camel urine and a domestic variety as well. He said that while he (a Muslim) does not drink it, there are people at the mosque who do, for their health as well as their piety.

I've confirmed that there IS a market locally.

I asked where they get the urine and he said that it comes from the "Old Country" but he isn't sure which old country. I'm sure that I could beat their prices.

  8. So THAT's what's up at Chipotle! "Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels." They just can't stop with the killing, too bad for the shepherd.
