Stocking Stuffer

The G2 RIP Ammunition in .45 ACP is solid copper. It creates a significant wound cavity with several wound channels as the bullet fragments within the target. Based on what I've been told, they don't do as well on auto windshields, etc. as extreme penetration ammo, but that's not what they're for. They are designed to damage flesh and bone, not to punch through walls to damage people beyond.

Santa loves me.

  1. That is some messy stuff…

The Bu is moving towards 9mm…but not that one. Like all changes, there have been some recent hiccups.

I still can carry the .45…looking for a good .46

    1. The .460 S&W would raise some eyebrows, but it wouldn't leave anyone to interrogate.

  3. Gah! It's $60.00 a box at Cheaper Than Dirt. That's a bit out of my price range to take a box to the range to see how it performs.

  5. Have you tried them? There was so much hype about them, not sure quite what to believe.

    1. Not yet, and no plans to use them on something living -- at the moment. It was a thoughtful gift and that's how I'm treating it now.
