Artificial Intelligence, Google and the Clinton Machine

Trump always lacked a "ground game".

That's not true for Hillary Clinton, who knows what it takes to win and has an inexhaustible supply of money (much of it from foreign potentates and Wall Street). She monitised her position as Secretary of State very successfully taking bribe after bribe, crafted as 'donations to the Clinton Foundation'.

Google proposed to work with Hillary to get her elected. It's laid out in detail on the e-mail snagged from the ether by WikiLeaks:
“Key is the development of a single record for a voter that aggregates all that is known about them. In 2016 smart phones will be used to identify, meet, and update profiles on the voter. A dynamic volunteer can easily speak with a voter and, with their email or other digital handle, get the voter videos and other answers to areas they care about (‘the benefits of ACA to you’ etc.)”
For each voter, a score is computed ranking probability of the right vote.
“Analytics can model demographics, social factors and many other attributes of the needed voters. Modeling will tell us what who we need to turn out and why, and studies of effectiveness will let us know what approaches work well. Machine intelligence across the data should identify the most important factors for turnout, and preference. It should be possible to link the voter records in Van with upcoming databases from companies like Comcast and others for media measurement purposes.”
Quite a bit of software is to be developed to match digital identities with the actual voter file with high confidence. The key unit of the campaign is a ‘voter’, and each and every record is viewable and updatable by volunteers in search of more accurate information. In the case where we can’t identify the specific human, we can still have a partial digital voter id, for a person or ‘probable-person’ with attributes that we can identify and use to target. As they respond we can eventually match to a registered voter in the main file. This digital key is eventually matched to a real person.”

We live in an age of very little privacy, where machine intelligence is getting smarter and will be working to sway YOU as an individual.

  1. I've was planning to attend the Halloween Party disguised Hillary Clinton, but I changed my mind since Jim Comey's latest announcement hit the news.

I don't look well in Black and White stripes and just couldn't stand wearing those darned Ankle Chains.

    1. The Republicans seem so far behind the tech curve.

  3. One of these days, we may have to admit that in a passionately divided nation, it's impossible to execute an honest election. In the end, it may always come down to the 3-5% who are willing to fight and die who get to vote.

    1. Yes, it happens to all advanced societies at one point in time or another. Our experiment of transition of power without violence is being tweaked by cheaters. Eventually we all get tired of being ruled by cheaters, and the shit hits the fan, and we return to the way things have always been: we are governed by the thug with the biggest club. Or spear, or cross bow, or machine gun, you get my point I'm sure.

    2. There is the hope that it will default to law, but the Dems/progs are lawless, so - yeah, I think that you're right.

    3. Fredd - true. History shows that pattern prevails and Rome was a republic until Julius Caesar (through force of arms) crossed the Rubicon and took the capital.

  4. LL - Somehow I popped in on this video posted by InfoWars. As I don't care for Alex Jones I am surprised that I listened to this. It related how the US intelligence community is staging a "soft coup" against Hillary and Obama. The spooks are the ones feeding Assange the emails. How do you react to this?

    1. I wouldn't be surprised if they did it and false-flag attribution to the Russians. Hillary is not popular in those circles because they know she will sell them out - and would likely sell information to the Russians, Chinese or to Iran --- anyone who would pay for it.

  5. I try to be as elusive a voter as possible, but I'm quite sure that the Demoncrats know they have NO chance of swaying me. On the other hand, Donald is still after my vote. I don't like him just a bit less than I don't like Hillary. I do like Gary Johnson, more than the other two combined, but I can't stand his smarmy but wet-brained Ivy educated running mate (or maybe former running mate) Bill Weld.

Off topic: The chick on the cover of your new novel looks like quite the handful... ;) ;) say no more.

    1. You can't expect the mainstream types to clean up Washington and Johnson doesn't have the stroke. Trump might be able to help, but I'm under no illusions that the bureaucracy will fight hard not to be downsized.

    2. I agree, the core of the problem is that ALL the other politicians running are just that and accordingly have no incentive whatsoever to change it all up. As for the bureaucracies, their denizens can absolutely be counted on to dig in their heels for the next 4 years.

    2. She's an Amorous Interruptus (AI), all right. Me and the wife will be getting a little frisky on the couch... maybe the soft sounds of HGTV in the background. Then, the sneering Clinton campaign ad comes on, and those words screeching: "I'm Hillary Clinton, and I approve this message." Ugh. Check, please! Mood ruined.
