Sidecars

You have to ask yourself what sort of person would ride in any given sidecar.
Hot Blonde

Somebody wearing leather

Somebody sleepy

Out for a good time

Granny

Out to set the land speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats

  1. My last ride in a sidecar was over 40 years ago. From Syracuse to Long Island, at night, in frigid November weather. It lasted six hours and I was never so cold in my life. I never liked driving a motorcycle with a sidecar attached as the dynamics of control completely changed.

Oh, and the bike was my buddy's 1967 BMW R69S with the sidecar attached.

    1. I've only driven a MC with a sidecar once. In that case, it was like driving a car. You can't lean and stopping power is greatly reduced.

  2. I like the one with the attached bed/trailer. You could just lean up and shoot anyone messing with your motorcycle in the dead of night.

    1. If you get tired, you can pull to the side of the road and catch a few ZZZzzz'z.
