The Leading Edge

We're flight testing our aircraft at Reno Stead Airport, site of the famed Reno Air Show. I can't wait for the next show, coming up this September.

It's the last remaining air race of its kind in the world. Nowhere else can you find Fokke Wulf 190s, P-51 Mustangs, Corsairs and Spitfires racing down on the deck at 500+ mph.

    1. It's my dream. I was chatting with the airport manager at Stead and told him that I wanted to race either a Bearcat or a P-51 in the Unlimited Class. He looked at me with some skepticism. I said, "sure, I'll auger in at 500 mph, but I'll do it with a smile on my face."

    1. Have Mrs. W. look for the Ashima Devices vendor booth. They will be able to find me.
