Friendlier Skies

I feel so neglected, so overlooked, so dismissed, so -- empty. Who knew that the stewardesses who served in the British Airways first and business class cabin also served in other ways (h/t Stormy).  I only fly in the good cabins (first class or upper class) and not one, "coffee, tea or me" question, with a wink or something.

No invitation to tea and crumpets and a happier landing.

I'm definitely not cool enough. - OR - Were they actually spies working for MI-6 who feared my mojo? Now that is a question isn't it?

When you fly Aeroflot, the flight attendants are mostly models and there's an assumption that they work for Mother Russia and whisper in Putin's ear (red sparrows).

So British Airways, thanks for NOTHING!

Israel and Iran

Expecting an Iranian attack and/or rehearsing civil defense. Warning that an Iranian attack might be imminent, the Israeli government called up reservists in air defense and intelligence specialties, Haaretz reported on 8 May.

Haaretz also reported that the Israel Defense Forces have ordered civil defense shelters in the Golan Heights opened to citizens. The newspaper opined that Israeli leaders believe that Iran is preparing to retaliate for an Israeli airstrike on an Iranian air base in Syria.

On 8 May, Israeli aircraft attacked targets in Syria within one hour of the US announcement that it withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal with Iran. Nine people, possibly Iranians, died in the attack. That explains the Israeli leadership’s latest concern about possible Iranian retaliation, in addition to the destruction Israeli air attacks have accomplished against Iranian targets in Syria during the past four months.

Reserve callups are genuine war preparations because of the costs to the civil economy of putting civilian specialists in uniform. The Haaretz article described a limited call-up that signifies the threat is from the air.

The localized civil defense measures indicate that Israeli intelligence expects Iranian targets would be on the Golan Heights.

Reserve recalls and civil defense measures reinforce the message that the threat is genuine and requires Israel to pay serious costs to increase readiness.

Iran will stay in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). On 8 May, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran will stay in the nuclear deal with other signatories. He stressed that that Iran always complies with its commitments.

Rouhani made the remarks shortly after the US President announced his decision to withdraw from the deal.

The other main signatories to the JCPOA have declared that they will remain in the arrangement. Their position provides economic and political incentives for Iran to remain in it at least until the benefits of adherence can be determined.

The Unraveling

Oh, the Horror

Kanye West escaped the Democratic plantation and people are losing their minds. (more here) West gave black people permission to like Donald Trump and it's creating some difficulties among the Party of Inclusion.

West isn't the only one. Diamond and Silk (pictured left) have also come out as voices of reason in favor of President Trump and the progressive movement is not amused. Facebook threw them off the platform as did Twitter. As I type this, they're being allowed back onto Facebook because of the public outcry.

Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, popularly known as Diamond and Silk, are American live-stream video bloggers and social media personalities who became known because they called it the way it is. Black people and people of color have been used as pawns of the Democrats who control every inner-city slum in the nation and have NO INTEREST in fixing the poverty or rampant violence since they profit from it. In the case of Diamond and Silk, they're regular guests on the Fox News Show, "Watter's World", Saturday night.

Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) - Scrapped

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is better known as the Iran Nuclear Deal. It's one of those things that never would have made it through the US Senate, so Barack simply made it an executive order, which President Trump unmade yesterday.

The deal is really insane because Iran self-reports whether or not it violated the terms of the agreement. There are not provisions for complete on-site inspection. And Iran said that they are not cheating and creating weaponized nuclear material...even though they're on record saying that they want to nuke Saudi Arabia, Israel and the US in that order with the missile delivery systems that they are building with North Korean technology.
“As we exit the Iran deal, we will be working with our allies to find a real, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Iranian nuclear threat. This will include efforts to eliminate the threat of Iran’s ballistic missile program, to stop its terrorist activities worldwide and to block its menacing activity across the Middle East,” Trump said. “In the meantime, powerful sanctions will go into full effect. If the regime continues its nuclear aspirations, it will have bigger problems than it has ever had before.”
Barack made the deal with a pen stroke. President Trump unmade the deal with a pen stroke. That's how it rolls. President Trump didn't rule out a nuclear agreement, but it won't be Barack's train wreck.

If the Democrats take back Congress, Rep. Nancy Pelosi vows to raise taxes by eliminating the Trump tax cut. Now that's a winning strategy.
